I've only had two children, but from the time they were conceived they couldn't be more different! Different cravings, weight gains, mood swings, stretch marks and everything in between, my two pregnancies and subsequent birth experiences couldn't be more different. Perhaps the fact that my first born is a boy and my second a girl, who knows?
One distinct difference between my two newborns was their skin and the way it reacted with the surrounding environment once the vernix had been come off. Apart from occasional crease dryness, my son's skin was quite supple and didn't need a lot of moisturizing, unlike my daughter whose skin was particularly dry and flaky in the first few weeks after she was born and needed some attention. The dryness manifested itself in scaly patches that weren't serious but probably enough to cause her to be unsettled and grouchy so I decided to buy this specific baby moisturizer to try to get rid of it. I was cautious to put anything on her skin, just not knowing how it would react but am pleased to say that this is just what the doctor ordered. It's gentle, soft and effectively moisturizes baby skin without leaving it greasy or with a nasty residue. Plus the smell is beautiful and not over the top perfumey or fake.
I was introduced to this brand by my mother-in-law, who purchased the mahu massage lotion when my son was born to help ease his colic. Although I didn't use the moisturizer with him, I probably would have if he had had sensitive skin or patchiness.
I really love these products and think they're great for new (and not-so-new) Moms who are looking to ease newborn skin problems naturally and gently.

Being a mom of twins with sensitive skin I have always been cautious before using anything on their skin. Until a friend introduced me to the mahu range of course. I bath my babies in the mahu baby wash and then afterwards use mahu baby moisturiser all over them as part of their bedtime routine. Their skin which reacts badly to anything has dramatically improved and all the expensive medicated skincare products I have used before have gone in the trash. Thanks guys.

I use mahu Moisturiser on my son's face as anything else seems to react with his skin. So many products are heavily perfumed and yet this moisturiser is so light and easily absorbed. It is made in New Zealand and designed by a group of midwives : couldn't ask for a better recommendation than that! Really smells divine too and keeps my baby's skin soft and moisturised.
