Finally, a rash cream that works!Apr 27, 2012

Both of my babies have been predisposed to diaper rash from a very young age. We use cloth diapers and keep the area super clean and dry, but for some reason their skin flares up. It's a total bummer, (excuse the pun), for everyone involved and I feel like I've tried most brands out there. I decided to give this cream a try because I liked the sound of the natural ingredients and felt like I'd tried most other brands, without success.
I'm stoked I did, this cream worked like magic and literally cleared up my daughter's rash overnight! The calendula was soothing and calmed down the redness, while the zinc oxide provided a barrier between her skin and the diaper deposit. The scent was gentle, light and smelt natural, not overly perfumey like Palmers or Johnsons.
If you're like me and feel like you've tried everything, this product will not disappoint.

I use cloth diapers - Real Nappies cloth diapers to be precise, so was looking for a product that I could safely use with these. I first used mahu diaper cream in New Zealand (where it is made and was recommended to me by my midwife). I do have to pop a Real Nappies diaper liner (bioliner) next to my boy's skin so the cream does not get onto the diaper but so far so good. As with all the mahu products this rubs in easily and smells beautiful. Also contains Calendula which is great for healing. I have used this as a nappy rash preventer the whole time and sooo great to put something natural on my boy's skin.
