I purchased this for my son when he was 7 months. It ended up being way to small and i had to return the item, however it was simple and easy to send back and had money money refunded promptly. it was not the size that the picture indiacted.

i bought this hat for my 20 month old son, it looks very cute but its not functional at all! inside of the hat is elastic yes but its too soft and not deep enough..therefore it does not stay on his head..i do not recommend this product, maybe for 1 year old or younger it would fit much better..
