Nice diaper, but not quite what I expected...bigger than it saysMar 09, 2012

The material is high quality. The sewmanship is very nice. The large tags are a bit annoying...I'll probably just cut them off.
The description states that the center fold is thicker...I really can't feel too much difference in thickness from the sides and center folds. That's a bit missleading as I have some Carters prefolds that truely are noticeably thicker in the middle.
As for size, my baby is right at 3mths and a little small for her age(about 12lbs), so I assumed they would be a little big at first(even though the sizing states 11-20lbs). I only washed them 4 times before use, but they didn't really "quilt" at all. Still, I have to fold over the back about 3-4" and the center width is just too wide yet. I tried the twist fold, which helped, but having to fold it over that much makes her bum way too big for her clothes. I'll probably wait at least a month before trying them again. I'm guessing they'll fit perfectly at around 5mths. Real Nappies should adjust the size description to state at least 13-20lbs.
(Update on size/fit: my baby is now 5 months old and these dipes are still a bit too big. My new estimate for a good fit is 7 months.)
The absorbancy is great.
Final note: These take FOREVER to dry. I'd recommend sun-drying them if possible as it kind of defeats the "go green" idea if you have to run them in the machine 3-4 tmes before they're dry.
