Worked When 2 Types of Snap Traps and a Live One Didn'tOct 23, 2010
By HH We had an unknown number of mice set up shop in our garage and gnawed into our bag of grass seed for food. We spent several days trying to catch them with Victor snap traps, which worked in prior experiences in catching 10-12 mice. We found the traps licked clean of the peanut butter we baited them with and tried a different brand with a more sensitive release mechanism (using plastic paddles instead of punched metal). We also placed a live trap to see if that would work, but the mice never stepped in. The newer snap traps were licked clean as well without being set off, so a solution which worked for us in the past was no longer effective. I started researching alternative traps, including electrical and other various live capture units, but the electrical still depended upon the mouse entering the unit, which this mouse didn't want to do. I came across the Nooski, and based upon the 5 star reviews it received from all previous reviewers, I ordered two and extra refills to give it a try. I set it up the night it was received, and the next morning, it was set off! After a bit of searching, I found the mouse nearby (about 18 inches away). The mouse was disposed of and the traps were reset. Turns out it was only one mouse as no other signs of mice have been observed over the following week. The Nooski traps were never tripped again. We're keeping these for the next time we have uninvited tenants.

Works - but mouse dies outside of trapDec 19, 2010
By DaveK Bought one of these and it has been bagging a mouse a night for the last few nights. The pros are once you get the hang of it, it is easy to use and reset. A small con is the peanut putter gets a bit smeared and cleaning it off the plastic casing would require much more time than I'm willing to invest so I just haven't been cleaning it - not a problem so far. The big con is I didn't realize that the mouse can wander out of the trap before it dies. They don't get more than 6 inches or so but it is a little gruesome to see their little bodies. I would therefore say it would not be appropriate to use this trap in places where children, pets or squeamish spouses/ relatives/ friends might stumble upon them.

Easy, Affordable, No mess, No blood, No dangerous springs, No risk. AWESOME TRAP!Nov 14, 2010
By Z. Bowles This trap is sheer GENIUS. It works easily, and perfectly for mice.
Two harmless plastic pieces and the little green rubber band make up the trap and are super easy to assemble and disassemble to clean or load bait.
You simply slide the clear part of the trap off the black tunnel piece. There is a box area clearly marked where you place some bait (cheese, peanut butter, etc).
Then starting at the small end of the clear part, you place one of the included rubber bands. Then simply roll it up over that piece to the other end where there is a groove the rubber band sits in. Snap the clear end with rubber band loaded in its groove back to the black tunnel piece and place it in a strategic spot and wait a few hours or overnight.
You want to place the trap right near a mouse hole in the wall or in an area where you have seen traffic of mice (ie mouse poop is a good sign of mouse traffic).
I have used this since yesterday night. In 24 hours, I have now found SIX dead mice near this little device, disposed of the mice, and reloaded a new band. Only once did I have to reload bait when a mouse got a band on his neck, backed out of the tunnel and died a few inches from the trap. Another mouse obviously took advantage of his brothers fate and went in and ate the bait with no band loaded for him. Oh well, no biggie there.
It's VERY easy to load, and works better then I ever imagined it would. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. It is built well and will last years and years and only new bands will need to be purchased. At only about 12 cents per band though, THIS NOOSKI IS MORE COST EFFICIENT THEN THE STANDARD SPRING LOADED MOUSE TRAPS and MUCH EASIER and LESS DANGEROUS FOR KIDS, ANIMALS, AND YOU as well! Also, no blood, no near misses where the bait is snagged but the trap fails either.
HELPFUL ADVICE: If you live in a house and not on farm or something, then one trap is very likely all you will need. Just be sure you buy an extra bag or two of the little rubber bands and you should be set for a long time on resolving any mice problems you have now and in the future. Like I say, I've killed six mice in the past 24 hours now, and have only checked every now and then when I think of it. Seems almost every time I think to check it, another mouse has met his fate! Also: I recommend using just a dab of creamy peanut butter as your bait. It seems to be working a lot better then cheese for me in my garage where my mouse problem is at.
High Five to the company behind this product. If only every product was built with such easy and intelligent design and also durability! As long as there is a Nooski mouse trap like this available, I will never, ever use any other mouse trap. It REALLY is that good people. If you have some mice you're trying to snag, LOOK NO FURTHER! Buy it now and be darn glad you did!

AmazingNov 10, 2010

"chelly"
We have used all kinds of traps to try get rid of all the mice in our garage and barns, we store chicken and horse feed in the garage in large tubs, and often mice will get trapped in the food container. They've chewed holes in feed bags and the plastic tubs. The mice have gotten into our cars, tearing out insulation to make nests and ruining the air vent system.
One mouse got into the house, and then it was WAR. We caught that one in a traditional snap trap - but I bought one of these Nooski to try. I set it next to the feed container in the garage, and BAM got a mouse, Dead, no legs caught or mouse running off with the trap attached.
I logged back in today to buy another Nooski and more rings - I'm gonna need em! I will probably buy a couple more when finances allow, to have set up in the chicken coop and horse barn. I have already recomended the Nooski to friends.
